New Senecio

Kleinia or Senecio?

Firstly everyone should understand that there is a big taxonomic revision underway by senior botanist the Kew Botanic Gardens in England. Many of the succulent senecios or kleinias that we have been growing in our gardens will soon have names changed to reflect DNA work.

Most people are familiar with the most common and very blue-leaved Senecio serpens and Senecio mandraliscae.

This article will focus primarily on our new hybrid called Kleinia 'Trident Blue' eligible
